This session provides participants with information regarding the non-credit upgrading program offered by TDSB through Essential Skills Upgrading (ESU) which is an outcomes-based, goal-oriented approach to education. Participants in ESU will acquire the skills necessary to move on to further education, apprenticeship programs and employment. After the information session, interested clients can remain for assessment and registration.

Moving Towards Opportunity (MTO) is a 14 week pre-employment program for youth 16 - 18 years of age who are returning to school in the fall.

Successful completion of the program can provide an opportunity for paid 8 week summer employment in the corporate and institutional sectors.

A settlement worker is available to meet with individuals for 1:1 appointments. Every Wednesday from 9:00am to 4:00pm.

Newcomer Individuals will receive supportive settlement counselling and referral to newcomer services. Information provided in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
