This workshop provides an overview of the City of Toronto's external recruitment process for job opportunities.
Participants will be provided with information regarding the services offered by the Essential Skills Upgrading program at the Toronto District School Board. Participants can ask questions about the program to decide if it is the best fit for them. There is also an opportunity for participants to complete assessment and register for classes.
This session provides information to job seekers interested in the Criminal Record Suspension process formerly known as pardon. Participants will learn about the application process, the rules around how and when to apply, information on helpful tools and resources in the community and how this process can improve access to employment opportunities. We will also discuss strategies for job searching with a criminal record.
