Mr. Becker assembled thousands of objects, creating a personal vision of the life of Torontonians between 1812 and 1993. Memorabilia such as medals, tokens, pins, badges and postcards depict his interest in capturing a view of Toronto life, from everyday moments to special celebrations and events. Through the generosity of Larry Becker, his wife Rose, and their children, this collection was donated to the City of Toronto where it serves as an important cultural resource for all to study and enjoy.
The Historical Collection is managed by Museum Services, part of the City's Cultural Services section. For more information on this Collection,
