Description

At its meeting in Committee Room 1, City Hall, 100 Queen Street West, Toronto, on July 17, 2018, the Executive Committee will consider Item EX36.45 which contains a recommendation which may result in amendments to the Toronto Municipal Code, Chapter 441, Fees and Charges.

It is proposed that the Council of the City of Toronto adopt amendments to Chapter 441, Fees and Charges to establish a fee of $20.00 for the new Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Police Reference Checks for the purpose of employment and volunteer opportunities, effective November 1, 2018.

The proposed amendment is subject to the decision of the Executive Committee and the decision of Toronto City Council. Consequently, the proposed amendment may be modified.

It is proposed that the by-law be amended at the City Council meeting to be held on July 23, 24 and 25, 2018, or at a subsequent meeting.
