PROPOSAL

The application to amend the Official Plan would introduce new policies that would govern the long-term, multi-phased redevelopment of the entire site, including the location of new streets, blocks, parks and open spaces, commercial and residential uses, and the phasing of new development for the property at 1911 Finch Avenue West.

The application to amend the Zoning By-law would permit the development of Phase 1 fronting on Finch Avenue West between Jane Street and Driftwood Avenue, consisting of six new towers, new housing units, non-residential uses, and community services for the property at 1911 Finch Avenue West. During Phase 1, most of the Jane Finch Mall will be retained, with approximately 2,500 square metres of the mall proposed to be demolished.

Detailed information regarding the proposal, including background information and material and a copy of the proposed Official Plan Amendment may be obtained by contacting Daniel Hahn, Planner at 416-394-8071, or by e-mail at Daniel.Hahn2@toronto.ca
