NOTICE OF INTENTION TO REMOVE A HOLDING SYMBOL (H) FROM ZONING BY-LAW 535-2023

DESCRIPTION

An application to amend Zoning By-law 535-2023 (OLT) to remove the Holding Symbol (H) to permit a 10-storey mixed-use building. The Holding provisions were imposed to enable the applicant to provide additional information related to site servicing demonstrating sufficient capacity to service the proposed development and confirm that all required upgrades and improvements have been financially secured. The Holding provisions also required a satisfactory wind study demonstrating efficacy of recommended wind mitigation measures and wind conditions, and a Section 37 Agreement that has been registered on the title of the lands. You may send written comments by mail or email to the Planner noted above. Your written comments must be submitted no later than April 25, 2024 to be considered by the Chief Planner and Executive Director, City Planning or designate. A decision by the Chief Planner and Executive Director, City Planning or designate as to whether to remove the Holding Symbol (H) will occur no earlier than May 14, 2024.
