The unconfirmed committee minutes for this item originally published online on July 4, 2011 were corrected on October 11, 2011 before confirmation by the committee on October 12, 2011.
The Government Management Committee's decision was originally recorded as a decision to defer the matter indefinitely. As a result, the item was not reported to City Council.
The corrected committee decision requires that the item be reported to City Council for final decision and accordingly, the City Clerk will report the item to City Council on October 24-25, 2011, being the first meeting since the error was detected.

Summary
The purpose of this report is to seek authority to acquire the properties municipally known as 49 Sheppard Avenue East, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22 and 24 Bonnington Place by initiating the expropriation process and by allocating the necessary funds in the 2011 Capital Budget. These properties are required for the North York City Centre Service Road (“NYSR”). This section of the NYSR is one of the last to be completed.
