Summary
The purpose of this report is to provide the City of Toronto Public Works and Infrastructure Committee with an update on the action that has taken place since the May 2010 decision by Toronto City Council to delegate, to the Toronto Police Services Board, the authority to regulate parades on highways in the City of Toronto and to prevent the obstruction of highways during parades, including the authority to issue permits for parades, to the Toronto Police Services Board.
