City Council Decision
City Council on October 30, 31 and November 1, 2012, adopted the following:
1. City Council request the Mayor to write to the Ontario Minister of Energy and to the Ontario Energy Board supporting a balanced position, stressing the need for investment in the supply and reliability of the electrical infrastructure and the need for a cost competitive pricing framework, especially for the City's manufacturers.
2. City Council request the City Manager to report to the Executive Committee on the energy and electricity needs associated with the Economic Growth Plan and the City's Official Plan.
