Community Council Decision
Etobicoke York Community Council:
1. Requested the Director, Transportation Services, Etobicoke York District:
a. to prepare a report to Etobicoke York Community Council, following the April 16, 2012 public meeting on the issue of traffic on St. Clair Avenue West between Keele Street/Weston Road and Old Weston Road, to address the requests contained in the Motion presented at the February 14, 2012 Etobicoke York Community Council meeting; and
b. given the overwhelming public support expressed at the April 16 meeting held by local Councillors Frances Nunziata and Cesar Palacio at the Piccininni Community Centre, for the proposed operational improvements, and road and bridge widening modifications between Old Weston Road and Keele Street, to proceed with this proposal at the earliest possible time due to the health and safety concerns.

Summary
The purpose of this report is to address the Motion presented at the February 14, 2012, Etobicoke York Community Council meeting to respond on the issue of safety and traffic flow on St. Clair Avenue West, in the area of Old Weston Road and report back to the April 2012 Etobicoke York Community Council meeting. Numerous staff meetings have occurred since February 14, 2012 and the area Councillor has scheduled a public meeting for April 16, 2012 to discuss this issue. As such, staff will report back to Community Council again on this issue following the public meeting.
