These services may be delivered directly by the municipality or through another public agency, board or commissions which the City of Toronto has the regulatory authority in relation to those services to regulate, prohibit and impose requirements.

It is vital to the sustainability of our residents that their municipal government, the City of Toronto provide this infrastructure such that related services can be enjoyed. Sustainable infrastructure and services should not compromise future generations and is accomplished by addressing environmental, economic, and social dimensions in current infrastructure provision.
