The Parks and Environment Committee:
1. Requested the General Manager, Parks, Forestry, and Recreation, in consultation with the Municipal Licensing and Standards, Animal Services Division, to investigate the feasibility of enacting off-leash hours in the City of Toronto and report back to the Parks and Environment Committee no later than its June 24, 2013 meeting.
2. Requested that any policy on City of Toronto leash free hours for dogs include a consideration of a policy option that allows for ward-by-ward and neighbourhood-by-neighbourhood appropriate site selection.
