City Council Decision
City Council on February 20 and 21, 2013, adopted the following:
1. City Council confirm Councillor Mark Grimes and Robert Burlie, Manager, Road Operations, Transportation Services, as the City of Toronto’s nominees for the Board of Directors of the Ontario Good Roads Association (“OGRA”) for the 2013 - 2014 term.
2. City Council direct that for future terms of the OGRA Board, the City Clerk canvass all members of Council for their interest in being on the OGRA Board and provide the results of that canvass to the Striking Committee for its consideration.
3. City Council direct that the Striking Committee consider the results of the Councillors’ canvass and recommend one City Councillor for approval by City Council as the City Councillor nominee to be on the OGRA Board.
4. City Council direct that the City of Toronto Staff representative on the OGRA Board be the General Manager, Transportation Services or his or her designate.
