City Council Decision
City Council on October 8, 9, 10 and 11, 2013, adopted the following:
1. City Council direct the City Manager to report back to City Council no later than the December 16, 2013 meeting of City Council with respect to identifying a significant Toronto landmark which could be renamed in honour of former Prime Minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau in order that the City of Toronto appropriately commemorate the memory and the contribution to our country and to the City of Toronto of the late Prime Minister. Landmarks to be considered may include major roadways, buildings or gathering places.
