City Council Decision
City Council on June 10, 11, 12 and 13, 2014, adopted the following:
1. City Council confirm confidential instructions issued to staff during the Closed Session.
2. City Council adopt the confidential recommendation in Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (June 4, 2014) from the City Manager, as amended by the confidential instructions issued to staff in the closed session, and authorize the General Manager, Transportation Services and the City Solicitor to amend the Street Furniture Agreement on the terms and conditions previously adopted by Council, subject to the terms and conditions as set out in Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (June 4, 2014) from the City Manager, as amended.
3. City Council direct that Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (June 4, 2014) from the City Manager, as amended, remain confidential as it contains information which relates to the security of property belonging to the City or one of its agencies or corporations, provided that the confidential recommendations, as amended, may be released publicly upon the execution of an approved amending Agreement incorporating the terms and conditions previously adopted by Council, subject to the terms and conditions as set out in Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (June 4, 2014) from the City Manager, as amended.
Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (June 4, 2014) from the City Manager remains confidential in its entirety in accordance with the provisions of the City of Toronto Act, 2006, as it pertains to the security of property belonging to the City or one of its agencies or corporations. Confidential Attachment 1 will be released publicly upon the execution of an approved amending Agreement incorporating the terms and conditions previously adopted by Council on May 6, 7 and 8, 2014, subject to the terms and conditions as set out in Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (June 4, 2014) from the City Manager, as amended.

City Council recessed its public session and met as Committee of the Whole in closed session on June 10, 2014, to consider confidential information on this Item as it relates to the security of the property belonging to the City or one of its agencies or corporations. City Council subsequently did not consider this Item in the June 10, 2014 closed session.

City Council recessed its public session and met as Committee of the Whole in a second closed session on June 11, 2014, and considered confidential information on this Item as it relates to the security of the property belonging to the City or one of its agencies or corporations.
City Council issued confidential instructions to staff in closed session as permitted by the City of Toronto Act, 2006, which remain confidential in their entirety as they relate to the security of the property belonging to the City or one of its agencies or corporations.

June 11, 2014 at 6:37 p.m. - Speaker Nunziata advised that City Council had completed its closed session consideration of Item CC52.4 headed "Toronto Street Furniture Program - Agreement Modifications Update" in the closed session. City Council adopted confidential instructions to staff on this Item.
City Council will now proceed to the public debate on this Item.
That:
1. City Council confirm confidential instructions issued to staff during the Closed Session.
2. City Council adopt the recommendations contained in the report (June 4, 2014) from the City Manager [CC52.4a] as amended by the confidential instructions issued to staff:
1. City Council adopt the confidential recommendation in Confidential Attachment 1, as amended and authorize the General Manager, Transportation Services and the City Solicitor to amend the Street Furniture Agreement on the terms and conditions previously adopted by Council, subject to the terms and conditions as set out in Confidential Attachment 1 to this report.
2. Confidential Attachment 1 remain confidential as it contains information which relates to the security of property belonging to the City or one of its agencies, boards and corporations, provided that the confidential recommendations may be released publically upon the execution of an approved amending Agreement incorporating the terms and conditions previously adopted by Council, subject to the terms and conditions as set out in Confidential Attachment 1 to this report.
