City Council Decision
City Council on February 19 and 20, 2014, adopted the following:
1. City Council appoint Councillor Gary Crawford as a member of the Economic Development Committee to the Toronto Music Industry Advisory Council.

City Council, by its adoption of Striking Committee Item ST13.2, also appointed Councillors Josh Colle and Mike Layton as members at large to the Toronto Music Industry Advisory Council.

Committee Recommendations
The Economic Development Committee recommends that:
1. City Council appoint Councillor Gary Crawford as a member of the Economic Development Committee to the Toronto Music Industry Advisory Council.
Origin
Summary
City Council on December 16, 2013 established the Toronto Music Industry Advisory Council. The composition and membership of this committee includes a member-at-large to be recommended by the Striking Committee to City Council at its meeting on February 19, 2014.
The membership under the Terms of Reference of the Toronto Music Industry Advisory Council also includes a member of the Economic Development Committee to be appointed by the Economic Development Committee, on the recommendation of its Chair.
Part 6 of the Terms of Reference of the Toronto Music Industry Advisory Council states:
"6. The non-Chair member of the Economic Development Committee shall be appointed by the Economic Development Committee on the recommendation of the Chair of the Economic Development Committee."
In order to complete the membership of this committee, I wish to submit my recommendation for Council's approval on February 19, 2014.
