Community Council Decision
The Toronto and East York Community Council:
1. Officially named the artificial ice rink/splash pad located in Sherbourne Common, at 61 Dockside Drive, “Paul Quarrington Ice Rink/Splash Pad" in honour of the contribution made by Paul Quarrington as a Canadian novelist, playwright, screenwriter, filmmaker, musician and educator.

Parks, Forestry, and Recreation is recommending that the artificial ice rink / splash pad located in Sherbourne Common at 11 Dockside Drive be named in honour of Paul Quarrington and his contributions to Canadian culture as a novelist, playwright, screenwriter, filmmaker, musician and educator.
Parks, Forestry, and Recreation has reviewed the proposal and determined that this naming proposal met all the criteria of the Council-approved Honourific and Street Naming Policy.
