The Civic Appointments Committee:

1. Directed that the Interview Subcommittee for Toronto Transit Commission interview the following 12 candidates on April 9, 2015, for appointment to the Toronto Transit Commission Board:

3. Directed that the confidential information contained in Confidential Attachments 1 and 2 remain confidential in their entirety as they relate to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Toronto Transit Commission Board.

There being no further nominations, the Chair closed the nominations.

There being 21 nominations for 12 interviews, the Civic Appointments Committee conducted a ballot for the recommended 12 interviews by the Interview Subcommittee for the Toronto Transit Commission.

The Civic Appointments Committee Administrator distributed the ballots to the Members of the Civic Appointments Committee.  Once all ballots had been cast and collected, the Administrator tallied and announced the results of the ballot to the Civic Appointments Committee conducted on Friday, March 27, 2015, as follows:

The Civic Appointments Committee recessed its public session and met in closed session on March 27, 2015, to consider confidential information on this Item related to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Toronto Transit Commission. 

The Civic Appointments Committee must select candidates for interviews for the Toronto Transit Commission Board. The Interview Subcommittee for Toronto Transit Commission will meet on April 9, 2015 to conduct the interviews and make recommendations to the Civic Appointments Committee.
