City Council Decision
City Council on March 31, April 1 and 2, 2015, adopted the following:
1. City Council adopt the instructions to staff contained in the Confidential Attachment to motion 1 by Councillor Doucette.
2. City Council direct that the confidential instructions to staff adopted by City Council be made public at the discretion of the City Solicitor.
3. City Council direct that Confidential Appendix A in Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (March 24, 2015) from the City Solicitor be made public and that the balance of Confidential Attachment 1 remain confidential.
The confidential instructions to staff adopted by City Council in the Confidential Attachment to motion 1 by Councillor Doucette remain confidential in their entirety at this time in accordance with the provisions of the City of Toronto Act, 2006, as they pertain to litigation or potential litigation and contains advice or communications that are subject to solicitor-client privilege. The confidential instructions to staff will be made public at the discretion of the City Solicitor.
Confidential Appendix A in Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (March 24, 2015) from the City Solicitor is now public and can be accessed under Background Information (City Council).
The balance of Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (March 24, 2015) from the City Solicitor remains confidential in accordance with the provisions of the City of Toronto Act, 2006, as it pertains to litigation or potential litigation and contains advice or communications that are subject to solicitor-client privilege.

March 31, 2015 at 7:37 p.m. - Speaker Nunziata advised that City Council had completed its closed session consideration of Item CC5.12.
That:
1. City Council delete the recommendations contained in the report (March 24, 2015) from the City Solicitor.
2. City Council adopt the recommendations contained in the Confidential Attachment to the motion by Councillor Doucette.
3. City Council direct that Confidential Appendix A in Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (March 24, 2015) from the City Solicitor be made public and that the balance of Confidential Attachment 1 remain confidential in its entirety.
4. City Council direct that the confidential instructions adopted by City Council be made public at the discretion of the City Solicitor.
