The Aboriginal Affairs Committee recommends to the Executive Committee that:

1. The City Manager consult with Toronto Council Fire on the project to create a "Restoration of Identity" sculpture, and report to the Executive Committee on options for a location and funding support for the project.

Theo Nazary and David Sherry of Toronto Council Fire Native Cultural Centre gave a presentation to the Aboriginal Affairs Committee on Indian Residential School Survivors (IRSS) Legacy: Restoration of Identity.

Summary

Andrea Chrisjohn, Executive Director, Toronto Council Fire, will present the Council Fire's commemoration initiatives for Residential School Survivors.
