1.  Referred the item to the General Manager, Economic Development and Culture with the request that the General Manager, Economic Development and Culture consult with the Chief Planner and Executive Director, City Planning on all elements of the proposal and report back in the first quarter of 2019.

Summary

Lew Pliamm and Alaa Tannous of the Duke Heights Business Improvement Area (BIA) will deliver a presentation on the Champagne Centre, a multi-purpose commercial and recreational facility located on the site of a former manufacturing plant. The presentation will include an overview of the Champagne Centre's history, economic impact and the vision to further expand its revitalization for the future.
