Committee Decision
The Economic Development Committee:
1. Requested the General Manager, Economic Development and Culture invite the Chair, Public Works and Infrastructure Committee and staff from Solid Waste Management to attend a Customer Service Enhancements Working Group meeting to discuss opportunities to assist in production waste reduction and opportunities to reduce on-set emissions prior to July 19, 2018.
2. Requested the General Manager, Economic Development and Culture invite the Chief Planner and Executive Director, City Planning and other appropriate staff working on the TOcore project to attend the Customer Service Enhancements Working Group meeting to discuss criteria for development that includes film friendly features (covered troughs to allow cable to cross the street, covered areas to facilitate Hair/Make-up/Wardrobe and camera, etc.)
3. Requested the General Manager, Economic Development and Culture invite the Chief Executive Officer, Exhibition Place to attend the Customer Service Enhancements Working Group meeting to discuss potential use of the CNE Grounds/Exhibition Place for unit parking.
4. Requested the General Manager, Economic Development and Culture invite the staff from TransformTO to the Customer Service Enhancements Working Group meeting.
