Board Recommendations

The Board of Health recommends that:

 

1.  City Council request the Government of Canada to sign the United Nations Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons.

The Board of Health:

 

1.  Expressed its support for the City of Toronto's reaffirmation of its position as a nuclear weapons-free zone.

 

2.  Requested the Government of Canada to sign the United Nations Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons.

 

3.  Requested the Medical Officer of Health to report back to the Board of Health to provide an update on emissions to see if there are any potential health hazards from the facility located at 1025 Lansdowne Avenue in Toronto, Ontario.
