North York Community Council:
1. Approved the name "Fairbank Village Lane" for a public lane north of Eglinton Avenue West between Fairbank Avenue and Shortt Street.

North York Community Council held a public meeting in accordance with the City of Toronto Act, 2006, and notice of the proposed enactment of the draft by-law was posted on the Public Notices Page of the City's website in accordance with the requirements of the City of Toronto Municipal Code Chapter 162. No one addressed the North York Community Council on July 23, 2018.

Summary
This report responds to a Motion by North York Community Council requesting the Manager, Land and Property Surveys to investigate and report to the next meeting of North York Community Council on the suitability of naming the public lane located north of Eglinton Avenue West and extending west from Dufferin Street as "Fairbank Village Lane". The lane extends between Fairbank Avenue and Shortt Street.
Community Councils have delegated authority to decide street naming matters which comply with the City of Toronto Street Naming Policy.
