Community Council Decision

North York Community Council:

 

1. Enacted the by-law to authorize the naming of the unassumed street between Rean Drive and Barberry Place as "Karen's Way".

Decision Advice and Other Information

North York Community Council held a public meeting in accordance with the City of Toronto Act, 2006, and notice of the proposed enactment of the draft by-law was posted on the City's website in accordance with the requirements of the City of Toronto Municipal Code Chapter 162.  No one addressed the North York Community Council on July 23, 2018.

Summary

At its meeting on July 4, 2018, North York Community Council adopted Item NY32.92 which approved the naming of the unassumed street between Rean Drive and Barberry Place as "Karen's Way", and directed that the name be referred to Engineering and Construction Services to confirm that Toronto Police Service, Toronto Fire Services and Toronto Paramedic Services have no objections to the proposed name. This report provides that information to North York Community Council.
