Summary
Transportation Services recommends a portion of the north side of Steeles Avenue West be permanently closed and sold to The Regional Municipality of York ("York Region"), for the construction of a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Tower and upgrading to the Humber Pumping Station. York Region will be providing the City with a financial consideration of $46,000 for the land.
A bus loop that services both York Region Transit and Toronto Transit Commission, as well as an additional portion of public highway, will be retained by the City for public highway purposes.
