Origin
Summary
This staff report recommends extending the duration of the permitted parking from one hour to a maximum of three hours along the northwest side of Kingston Road between Claremore Avenue/Cliffside Drive and Midland Avenue.
The local merchants have requested that the one hour maximum permissive parking be extended to three hours along this section of roadway. Councillor Crawford has indicated that the majority of store owners support the permissive parking for a maximum three hour period. The extended permissive parking duration will allow sufficient time for shop and restaurant patrons to shop and consume meals without being constrained to short term permissive parking.
