The Toronto and East York Community Council:

1. Rescinded the existing maximum one hour parking limit in effect from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the south side of Olive Avenue, between a point 49 metres east of Manning Avenue and a point 60 metres east of Manning Avenue.

2. Designated an on-street accessible loading zone operating from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily, on the south side of Olive Avenue, between a point 49 metres east of Manning Avenue and a point 11 metres further east.

3. Rescinded the existing permit parking in effect from 12:01 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. daily, on the south side of Olive Avenue, between a point 49 metres east of Manning Avenue and a point 60 metres east of Manning Avenue.

4. Authorized permit parking in effect from 12:01 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. on the south side of Olive Avenue, between a point 49 metres east of Manning Avenue and a point 60 metres east of Manning Avenue.

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority to make a final decision, provided that it is not amended so that it varies with City Policy or by-laws.

Transportation Services is requesting approval to install an accessible loading zone on the south side of Olive Avenue, between Manning Avenue and Palmerston Avenue.  The loading zone will operate between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. daily, and provide curb side access for Wheel-Trans.  This designation will result in the loss of two on-street permit parking spaces between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., and no impact to overnight permit parking from 12:01 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
