Summary

This report provides information and identifies a preliminary set of issues regarding the application to amend the former City of Etobicoke Zoning Code for the properties located at 4, 6 and 8 Beamish Drive to permit a residential development consisting of a 4-storey podium and a 31-storey tower that would have an overall height of 116 m (inclusive of mechanical equipment).  The proposed development would have a total gross floor area of 24,747 m2, which would result in a Floor Space Index of 13.6 times the area of the lands. Staff are currently reviewing the Zoning By-law Amendment application and it has been circulated to all appropriate agencies and City divisions for comment. Staff will proceed to schedule a community consultation meeting for the application with the Ward Councillor.
