Motions (City Council)
Speaker Nunziata advised Council that the provisions of Chapter 27, Council Procedures, require that Motion MM25.14 be referred to the General Government and Licensing Committee. A two-thirds vote of the Council Members present is required to waive referral.
Councillor Perks, on a Point of Order, stated that it would be helpful if the Interim City Clerk circulated a memo to Members of Council reminding them of their option to write a letter to the appropriate committee in order to request a report from staff.
