February 19, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. - Speaker Nunziata advised Council of the following:
We will now review and confirm the Order Paper. Once the Order Paper has been approved by Council, any change will need a two‑thirds vote.
The Mayor has identified Item EX13.1 on the 2020 Property Tax Rates and Related Matters as his first Key Matter. Item EX13.2 on the 2020 Capital and Operating Budgets is the Mayor's second Key matter. These will be our first items of business today.
We are scheduled to meet until 6 p.m. tonight. We will take a scheduled recess between 12:30 and 2:00 p.m. Council will reconvene tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. if necessary.
Members will have an opportunity to ask questions on each of the Executive Committee Items when the Items come up for debate.
Members, we have three items before us. Items 1 and 2 will be debated but does anyone wish to hold Item 3?
