Committee Decision
The Toronto Accessibility Advisory Committee recommends that City Council:
1. Direct that the recommendations of the Toronto Accessibility Task Force on COVID-19 Vaccines apply to all City-operated vaccination clinics.
2. Reimburse the costs borne by the agency partners of the Toronto Accessibility Task Force on COVID-19 Vaccines for the accommodations provided at the two vaccine clinics held in May 2021 for people living with disabilities.
3. Direct that the cost of future requirements for further accommodations recommended by the Task Force be the sole responsibility of the City of Toronto and other governments.
4. Direct the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer to arrange for the process of reimbursement from the appropriate funding source.
