City Council Decision
City Council on June 8 and 9, 2021, adopted the following:
1. City Council direct the Executive Director, Municipal Licensing and Standards to report to the September 22, 2021 meeting of the Economic and Community Development Committee on how the Toronto Police Service interprets their Way Forward Action Plan in dealing with late night noise complaints and whether there is a service gap between the Toronto Police Service, Municipal Licensing and Standards and 311 Toronto, in dealing with these issues, such report should include the number of Municipal Licensing and Enforcement staff working late night hours and information regarding any adjustments to staffing levels since the adoption of Way Forward Action Plan.
