City Council Decision

City Council on July 14, 15 and 16, 2021, adopted the following:

 

1. City Council request the General Manager, Transportation Services and the General Manager, Toronto Water to work with the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority to explore opportunities to naturalize the Black Creek Channel as a part of establishing the alternative design options for the Rockcliffe Riverine Flood Mitigation Project Municipal Class Environmental Assessment and report on its findings as part of the environmental assessment process.

Speaker Nunziata advised Council that the provisions of Chapter 27, Council Procedures, require that Motion MM35.27 be referred to the Infrastructure and Environment Committee. A two-thirds vote of the Council Members present is required to waive referral.
