City Council Decision

City Council on November 9, 10 and 12, 2021, adopted the following:

1. City Council vary the Public Appointments Policy residency requirement in respect of Jim Hart, Chair, Toronto Police Services Board, so that Mr. Hart can continue serving on the Toronto Police Services Board and complete his term as Chair to November 14, 2022 and until a successor is appointed.

Speaker Nunziata advised Council that the provisions of Chapter 27, Council Procedures, need to be waived to permit introduction of Motion MM37.31. A two-thirds vote of Council Members present is required to waive notice.
