a - Review Order Paper

November 9, 2021 at 10:08 a.m. - Speaker Nunziata advised Council of the following:

 

Members, I will now review the Order Paper. 

 

We have 4 deferred Items before us today:

 

NY26.2

TE23.10

TE23.21, and

DM37.1.

 

The Mayor has designated Item PH28.1 on "Inclusionary Zoning Official Plan Amendment, Zoning By-law Amendment and Draft Implementation Guidelines" and Item EX27.7 on "Implementing a Small Business Property Tax Subclass" as his Key Matters for this meeting.  These will be our first items of business today.

         

The Notice of Motion run through is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Wednesday only if the Mayor's Key Matters are completed. 

 

I will now go through the items to take additional Member holds.     I will review the Order Paper one section at a time.

 

The Clerk will open the speakers list in CMP and you can place your name on the list.  When I recognize you, unmute your mic and state the item or items you wish to hold.

That City Council consider Item EX27.10 headed "CaféTO 2022 and Beyond" as the first Item on Wednesday, November 10, 2021.  


2a - Motion to Amend the Order Paper moved by Councillor Kristyn Wong-Tam (Carried)

That City Council consider Item GL26.11 as the first Item after the Mayor's Key Matters.


2b - Motion to Amend the Order Paper moved by Councillor Kristyn Wong-Tam (Carried)

That City Council consider Item EC25.5 as the second item after the Mayor's Key Matters.

Members, we will now review and confirm the Order Paper.  There are 67 Items left on the agenda, including 33 Member Motions.

 

Council has decided to consider Item EX27.10 on CafeTO 2022 and Beyond as the first item of business this morning.

 

Council will consider the Member Motion run through at 2 p.m.

         

Following the Member Motion run through, we will hold a closed session.

 

The next two items after the closed session will be Item GL26.11 on Vehicle for Hire Driver Training and EC25.5 on the Results of the 2021 Street Needs Assessment and Homelessness Solutions Service Plan.

 

Members, to help staff prepare for the closed session, I will review the items with confidential information and ask if Members need to consider them in closed session:
