City Council Decision
City Council on July 14, 15 and 16, 2021, adopted the following:
1. City Council amend Schedule B of the City of Toronto Municipal Code, Chapter 925, Permit Parking, to incorporate a revised map of Permit Parking Area "2", as shown in Attachment 1 of the report (June 4, 2021) from the Director, Permits and Enforcement, Transportation Services.

Community Council Recommendations
The Toronto and East York Community Council recommends that:
1. City Council approve the amendment to Schedule B of the City of Toronto Municipal Code, Chapter 925, Permit Parking, to incorporate a revised map of Permit Parking Area "2", as shown in Attachment 1 of the report (June 4, 2021) from the Director, Permits and Enforcement, Transportation Services.

Summary
As the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) operates a transit service on Dufferin Street, City Council approval of this report is required.
The purpose of this report is to respond to Toronto and East York Community Council's direction to review and report back on the realignment of Permit Parking Area 2 to exclude the development located at 646-648 Dufferin Street and 1-3 Boland Lane.
The exclusion of the development located at 646-648 Dufferin Street and 1-3 Boland Lane is a means to ensure that current permit holders have sufficient parking space. The issuance of parking permits to residents, guests, tradespeople and caregivers of this development would negatively impact on the already limited parking supply in the neighbourhood.
Staff have determined the realignment of the Permit Parking Area 2 is feasible and has no objections to excluding the development at 646-648 Dufferin Street and 1-3 Boland Lane.
