Summary

Residents have reached out to my office with concerns about road safety and speeding in the vicinity of Secord Elementary School, which is situated in a neighbourhood home to many students and families.

This lively area is home to a TTC station, community centre, and a growing number of residents, making it a priority area for increased active transportation options and road safety enhancements.

I have worked with the local community to develop a number of measures to enhance safety and connectivity in the area. To keep making our community safer for all, I recommend both the installation of new measures as well as the exploration of additional ways to improve road safety for the community.
