Summary
As you may know, the City's current review of the Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport is examining a number of dimensions of this issue, and both City staff and external consultants have been engaged to provide information for Council on this matter.
I would like to have the staff and consultants reviewing the following areas to be available for the meeting:
- aviation
- economic impact
- planning
- transportation
- health
- parks
- waterfront revitalization
In accordance with the consultants' reports, I would like the subcommittee to be able to review in particular the impacts to land use and planning in the area, impacts to area parks, adjacent properties, transportation and infrastructure investments to the waterfront. The list of reports to be considered by this subcommittee is attached.
