No quorum was present at the meeting time at 3:15 p.m. on June 20, 2018.  After calling for quorum, the Clerk called the roll at 3:16 p.m. and recorded the following members present:

Spencer Sutherland, Co-chair provided and update on the work with the Responsible Hospitality Institute.

Spencer Sutherland, Co-chair, Toronto Music Industry Advisory Council, will update members on the work and upcoming research on Toronto’s Night-Time Economy to be undertaken by the Responsible Hospitality Institute (RHI).

Shaun Bowring, Co-organizer, Toronto Music Passport Program will give a presentation on the Music Passport summer 2018 program.

The Music Sector Development Officer, Economic Development and Culture gave an update on City-approved Venue Protection Measures including TOCore and "Agent of Change".

Economic Development and Culture staff will give a presentation on the effect of the recently approved TOcore Downtown Plan, on live music venues in Toronto.

Stuart Green, Senior Communications Specialist, Media Relations, Toronto Transit Commission and Scott Haskell, Senior Planner, Toronto Transit Commission gave a presentation on Music and the TTC.

At its meeting on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 the TTC Board considered a report titled “Improving Transit Service to Major Music Festivals” and forwards the report to the Toronto Music Industry Advisory Council for information.

The Chair and Co-Chair, Toronto Music Industry Advisory Council (TMAC) gave an Overview of TMAC's Key Accomplishments 2014 - 2018.

Toronto Music Industry Advisory Council (TMAC) Co-Chairs, Spencer Sutherland and Councillor Colle, will give a presentation summarizing the TMAC's accomplishments. 

The Co-Chairs will also seek feedback on the future reconstitution of TMAC.
