City Council Decision
City Council on February 7 and 8, 2011 adopted the following:
1. City Council adopt the confidential instructions to staff in Attachment 1 to the report (January 28, 2011) from the City Solicitor.
2. City Council direct that confidential recommendations and information contained in Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (January 28, 2011) from the City Solicitor remain confidential as it relates to litigation that affects the City and is subject to solicitor-client privilege.
3. City Council direct the City Solicitor and the Director, Purchasing and Materials Management Division to submit an information report to the Government Management Committee on improvements made to the City's standard tender and Request for Proposal documents since July 2005, being the time of the award under consideration.
Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (January 28, 2011) remains confidential in its entirety, in accordance with the provisions of the City of Toronto Act, 2006, as it relates to litigation or potential litigation that affects the City or one of its agencies, boards and commissions, and it contains advice and communications that are subject to solicitor-client privilege.
