Etobicoke York Community Council:
1. Rescinded the existing 60 km/h speed limit on Lawrence Avenue West between Black Creek Drive and Keele Street.

Summary
The purpose of this report is to obtain approval to reduce the speed limit on Lawrence Avenue West, between Black Creek Drive and Keele Street.
A staff assessment has determined that the criteria for installing a 50 km/h speed limit on major arterial roads are achieved, in that the findings are consistent with the 50 km/h Speed Limit Warrant. Approving this report will result in a 50 km/h speed limit regulation along Lawrence Avenue West between Black Creek Drive and Keele Street and provide for a consistent 50 km/h speed limit between Royal York Road and Don Mills Road.
