City Council Decision
City Council on February 7 and 8, 2011, adopted the following:
1. City Council direct the City Clerk to advise the Registrar of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) that the issuance of a liquor licence for Femis Place at 1812 Weston Road (the "Premises") is not in the public interest and that the Registrar should issue a Proposal to Review the liquor licence application.
2. City Council request that the AGCO provide the City of Toronto with an opportunity to participate in any proceedings with respect to the Premises.
3. City Council authorize the City Solicitor to attend all proceedings before the AGCO in this matter and be directed to take all necessary actions so as to give effect to this Motion, including, in the event that the AGCO issues the requested liquor licence, ensure that conditions are placed on it.
