Panel Decision

Civic Appointments Committee Panel 2 recommends to the Civic Appointments Committee that:

1. City Council appoint the individual listed in Confidential Attachment 1 to the Board of Health as Education Representative, at the pleasure of Council, for a term of office ending on November 30, 2014 and until a successor is appointed.

2. City Council authorize the City Clerk to make the appointee's name public once appointed by Council and the appointee has been notified.

Civic Appointments Committee Panel 2 recessed its public session and met in closed session to consider confidential information on this Item as it relates to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Board of Health as Education Representative.

Summary

The Toronto District School Board and the Toronto Catholic District School Board have submitted their nominees for appointment to the Board of Health as Education Representative. The Civic Appointments Committee Panel 2 will interview the nominees.
