Committee Decision
1. Requested the Chief Planner and Executive Director, City Planning, to report back on an amendment to the City-wide Zoning By-law and former general zoning by-laws by introducing a definition for medical marihuana production facility and development standards substantially in accordance with the zoning provisions included in Attachment One of the report (September 24, 2013) from the Chief Planner and Executive Director, City Planning.
2. Requested the Chief Planner and Executive Director, City Planning, to conduct a meeting in November 2013 for the purposes of consulting the public with respect to the changes to the zoning by-laws outlined in Recommendation 1of the report (September 24, 2013) from the Chief Planner and Executive Director, City Planning.
3. Requested the Chief Planner and Executive Director, City Planning, to prepare a final report and draft by-law for the purposes of a Statutory Public Meeting at the January 13, 2014 meeting of the Planning and Growth Management Committee.

Motions
That the recommendations in the report (September 24, 2013) from the Chief Planner and Executive Director, City Planning be deleted and replaced with:
"The Planning and Growth Management Committee recommends that:
1. The Chief Planner and Executive Director, City Planning, be requested to report back on an amendment to the City-wide Zoning By-law and former general zoning by-laws by introducing a definition for medical marihuana production facility and development standards substantially in accordance with the zoning provisions included in Attachment One.
2. The Chief Planner and Executive Director, City Planning, be requested to conduct a meeting in November 2013 for the purposes of consulting the public with respect to the changes to the zoning by-laws outlined in Recommendation 1.
3. The Chief Planner and Executive Director, City Planning, be requested to prepare a final report and draft by-law for the purposes of a Statutory Public Meeting at the January 13, 2014 meeting of the Planning and Growth Management Committee."
