City Council Decision

City Council on February 19 and 20, 2014, adopted the following:

 

A.        City Council advise the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario that it has no objection to the following requests for:

 

1.         Temporary liquor licence extensions until 4:00 a.m. each day for the Music City North: Queen Street Festival to be held from Thursday, March 20 until 4:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 23, 2014, for the following establishments listed in the e-mail from Ms. Reid:

 

Bovine Sex Club, 542 Queen Street West

Cherry Cola's, 200 Bathurst Street

The Hideout, 484 Queen Street West

Horseshoe Tavern, 370 Queen Street West

Velvet Underground, 510 Queen Street West

 

2.         Temporary liquor licence extension until 4:00 a.m. for Foundry 2014 to be held on March 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 and 29, 2014 and April 4 and 5, 2014, from 10:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. each day, at the Tower Automotive at 158 Sterling Road.

 

3.         Temporary patio extension for Fynn's of Temple Bar Pub & Restaurant onto the parking lot property surrounding its establishment at 489 King Street West for a St. Patrick's Day 2014 event to be held on Saturday, March 15, 2014, Sunday, March 16, 2014 and Monday, March 17, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. each day.

 

4.         Temporary patio extension for 2nd Floor Events, 461 King Street West, in the parking lot adjacent to and on the west side of 461 King Street West, as well as the entrance staircases into the inside of 2nd Floor Events for a St. Patrick's Day event to be held on Saturday, March 15, 2014, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.

 

B.        City Council concur in the action taken in supporting a request from Mr. James Sandham of Mirvish Productions for a temporary liquor licence extension for a "bar" set with room for sixteen patrons, allowing patrons to purchase drinks during the intermission of the production of a musical play "Arrabal" at the Panasonic Theatre, 651 Yonge Street, Toronto, commencing on February 4, 2014 until April 20, 2014 (dates as listed in the e-mail from Mr. Sandham).
