City Council Decision

City Council on March 31, April 1 and 2, 2015, adopted the following:

 

1.  City Council receive the Annual Report of the Lobbyist Registrar for the Year 2014 for information.

 

2.  City Council request the City Manager, in consultation with the City Solicitor and the Lobbyist Registrar, to report to City Council on:

 

a.  changes to policies and reporting protocols to ensure that the records of lobbying activities on the public website are accurate; and

 

b.  a "Lobbyist Lens" as a regular part of staff reports to City Council, such a lens to simply note the registered lobbying that has taken place on a particular issue.
