Summary

The TTC building at 1627 Danforth Avenue is an iconic building in the East Danforth neighbourhood. Completed in 1915 to serve streetcar routes in the East End of Toronto, the brick carhouse is one of the older public buildings in this community. Residents in the area are concerned that the site could be declared surplus and the historic building lost.
