City Council Decision
City Council, on March 10, 2016, adopted the following:
1. City Council, as approving authority under the Expropriations Act, having considered the report of the Inquiry Officer, continue to approve the expropriation of the property requirements set out in Appendix A to the report (February 2, 2016) from the Chief Corporate Officer.
2. City Council, as recommended by the Inquiry Officer, approve the payment of costs in the amount of $200, pursuant to section 7(10) of the Expropriations Act, to the owner of 34 Plymbridge Crescent funded from the 2016-2025 Approved Capital Budget and Plan for Toronto Water (account CWW447-11).
3. City Council authorize all actions necessary to comply with the Expropriations Act, including but not limited to, the preparation and registration of an Expropriation Plan and service of the Notices of Expropriation, Notices of Election as to a Date for Compensation, and Notices of Possession.
4. City Council authorize the Director, Real Estate Services to sign the Notices of Expropriation and Notices of Possession on behalf of the City.
5. City Council authorize the public release of the confidential information contained in Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (February 2, 2016) from the Chief Corporate Officer once there has been a final determination of the compensation payable for the Properties by arbitration, appeal or settlement to the satisfaction of the City Solicitor.
Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (February 2, 2016) from the Chief Corporate Officer remains confidential in its entirety at this time in accordance with the provisions of the City of Toronto Act, 2006, as it pertains to a proposed or pending acquisition or sale of land for municipal or local board purposes. Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (February 2, 2016) from the Chief Corporate Officer will be made public once there has been a final determination of the compensation payable for the Properties by arbitration, appeal or settlement to the satisfaction of the City Solicitor.

During the review of the Order Paper, City Council adopted a procedural motion to deem this Item urgent and remove it from the jurisdiction of the Govermnent Management Committee and bring it forward for consideration by City Council.

Committee Recommendations
The Government Management Committee recommends that:
