City Council Decision

City Council on December 5, 6, 7 and 8, 2017, adopted the following:

 

1.  City Council adopt the confidential instructions to staff in Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (November 24, 2017) from the City Solicitor.

 

2.  City Council authorize the public release of the confidential instructions to staff in Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (November 24, 2017) from the City Solicitor and City Council direct that the balance of Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (November 24, 2017) from the City Solicitor remain confidential.

 

The confidential instructions to staff in Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (November 24, 2017) from the City Solicitor were adopted by City Council and are now public, as follows:

 

1.  City Council direct the City Solicitor to appear at the Ontario Municipal Board hearing in support of the site specific appeals regarding 49, 53 and 44 Judson Street, conditional upon the applicant:

 

a.  making the necessary revisions to its proposal to bring it into conformity with the City Council approved Mimico Judson Secondary Plan, including but not limited to revisions that show:

 

i.  a right-of-way widening along the north side of the site of 3.5 metres;

 

ii.  the Mimico-Judson Greenway; and

 

iii.  an appropriate front yard setback along Judson Street; and

 

b.  providing a Section 37 contribution in an amount and for purposes to be determined through negotiation with the City Solicitor and in consultation with the Ward Councillor.

 

The balance of Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (November 24, 2017) from the City Solicitor remains confidential in accordance with the provisions of the City of Toronto Act, 2006, as it contains advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege.
